Information in this document applies to any platform.
In the AIA 2.5 Install Guide, In the Design to Release: Agile - EBS PLM PIP Installer Interview requests the following information:
Agile PLM Integration Username
E-Business Suite User Name
E-Business Suite Database Username
1) E-Business Suite User Name
What account is this? Can I create a new account, if so, what privileges does it need?
2) E-Business Suite Database Username
For the database connections to both EBS and Agile - the documentation shows examples of apps and agile respectively. In some cases Customer policies do not allow the use of the apps user other than for server use. A full apps account would give access to financials which could grant access to change financial data - thus it is not allowed for production. We desire to create new accounts with the proper grants to allow functionality. What are the minimum account privileges needed at the database level for new user account to access apps schema in EBS?
3) Agile PLM Integration Username offers the admin account as an example, but what application privileges are required? Certain privileges are associated with any account for either application- there is no information in the documentation to outline what the required settings are. Diodes does not want the use of admin (Agile) they wish to create another user for this. What application privileges need to be assigned in agile for the account used in the Agile PLM Integration Username?
