This document applies to Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Oracle Communications, Release 12.2

Purpose

Oracle Application Integration Architecture(AIA) for Oracle Communications, Release 12.2 was certified with FMW( Fusion Middleware) 12.2.1.1 &  Service-oriented architecture (SOA) 12.2.1.1 at the time of initial release. The Oracle Communications AIA 12.2 release has now also been certified with FMW 12.2.1.3, SOA 12.2.1.3. In order to deploy Oracle Communications AIA 12.2 release on FMW 12.2.1.3, SOA 12.2.1.3, few manual steps are required. These steps are necessary due to the changes in ANT_HOME, ant-contrib.jar and commons-cli.jar in FMW 12.2.1.3 release. These changes impact the variable settings for the SOA domain created.

Without the above manual changes, error is encountered while deploying Oracle Communications Process Integration Packs (PIPs) (like Order-to-cash(O2C),  Agent Assisted Billing Care(AABC) etc) on Oracle Communications AIA 12.2.0 setup with FMW 12.2.1.3 and SOA 12.2.1.3. This is due to missing PIP’s related folders, files and AIAJMSModule after installation of the AIA 12.2.0 software and Communication PIP’s. There is no error during the installation, but PIP deployment related files and JMS component are missing from the installation.
