Applies To
Oracle Application Integration Architecture Release 12.2.1
The information in this document applies to AIA 12.2.1 on Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA 12.2.1.4 on all platforms. This is a one-time activity for all new installations of AIA 12.2.1 on FMW 12.2.1.4 and SOA 12.2.1.4.
Purpose
Oracle Application Integration Architecture provides several SOA extensions to support AIA XPath functions and other applications such as AIAHomeApp. As per the SOA guidelines, these extensions are placed in the Middleware_Home/soa/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/classes folder and are made available to all applications as a class path.
AIAHomeApp and the AIA XPath functions work as expected with releases up to release 12.2.1.3 of FMW SOA. Because of an issue with SOA (bug # 30499299), this functionality does not work as expected with FMW SOA release 12.2.1.4. Although AIA 12.2.1 is certified with Oracle FMW SOA 12.2.1.4, because of the issue with SOA, applications show up as Failed in the WebLogic Server console. This document provides a workaround for the issue.
Scope
This applies to all new installations of AIA 12.2.1 on FMW 12.2.1.4 and SOA 12.2.1.4.
