Purpose

This document outlines a number of possible implementation solutions for the monitoring with Oracle Real User Experience Insight (RUEI) of applications that use an SSO-based authentication scheme (such as WIA or Kerberos). Reasons for obtaining user IDs within such traffic, together with potential problems to exposing user IDS are highlighted. Finally, a number of possible implementation solutions (based on JavaScript and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) are presented.
