Symptoms


Unable to configure the LDAP service test for Open LDAP 2.x.

Error message :

LDAP Address Search Failed. The search operation with Base: dc=<hostname>,dc=<domain>,dc=com and Filter: (cn=**) did not return any results.


OR

LDAP Base Search Failed. LDAP : error code 32 - No Such Object



The following test parameters had been:
LDAP Host Address <hostname.domain>
LDAP Port 58089
LDAP User Name cn=911,ou=People,dc=<hostname>,dc=<domain>,dc=com
LDAP Password   *******
Total Number of Retries 6
Retry Interval (minutes) 5
LDAP Search Filter cn=*
LDAP Search Base dc=<hostname>,dc=<domain>,dc=com
LDAP Compare Attribute Name dn
LDAP Compare Attribute Value cn=Nobody,dc=<hostname>,dc=<domain>,dc=com
LDAP Timeout (seconds) 60
Request Type Unsecured
Authentication Mode None
