Steps to Enable Extended SQL / UI Trace for Enterprise Manager Database Console Sessions Against Repository Schema (Doc ID 1104543.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 17, 2020

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database - Version to [Release 11.1 to 11.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Enterprise Manager Database control - Version: onwards

This document describes the Extended SQL / UI Trace feature of Enterprise Manager that is available for collecting trace information of the EM Database Console Sessions made to the Repository Schema.

This will mainly help EM Users and Administrators, who need to trace the SQL queries that are being run against the Repository schema, for a Database Console-level activity.

Note: This does not trace the queries executed by the Database Control against the monitored databases, for Administrative / Real-time console operations.

To collect the SQL statements executed by the Administrative / Real-time Console session, refer to the steps in <Note 1105475.1>: How to Identify the SQL Used by Database Control For Administrative / Real-time Monitoring Pages of a Database Target?
