11g Grid Control: How to Change SSL Administration Ports for both WebLogic Admin Server and the Mid (Web) Tier (Apache) (Doc ID 1109638.1)

The contents of this note apply to Enterprise Manager release 11G and up



Goal

The goal of this document is to provide specific instructions on how to perform the following activities:

 

  1.  Change the SSL port of the WebLogic Administration Server.

 

Note:  The WebLogic Administration server stores the container specific configuration details for the OMS application server (managed server) and performs all administrative functions for the domain through the console. By default, the SSL port for the WebLogic Administration server is 7101



    2.  Change the SSL port for the Web Tier which is used to access the Enterprise Manager Console


Note:  In Enterprise Manager 11, communication between a browser client and the OMS server typically has the following flow:
Browser->Web Tier (Apache) -> OMS Server (WebLogic Managed Server)
These instructions are to change the SSL port for the Web Tier only (Apache).
The default SSL port for the Web Tier is 7799
