JAM Manager Is Installed On Physical Hostname Rather Than VIP

(Doc ID 1161394.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2016

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Grid Control - Version: and later   [Release: 11.1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

OMS was installed using VIP, using ORACLE_HOSTNAME parameter.

The AD4J manager was installed using the same VIP that was specified during install of OMS when running DeployAD4JManager.sh script.

In a multi-homed NIC system, the managed server for the AD4J manager was configured to use the VIP but it is trying to connect to the physical hostname of the system.
