Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2024

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 11.1.0.1 to 11.1.0.1.7 [Release 11.1]
APM - Application Performance Management - Version 11.1.0.1 to 11.1.0.1 [Release 11.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OMS was installed using VIP, using ORACLE_HOSTNAME parameter.

The AD4J manager was installed using the same VIP that was specified during install of OMS when running DeployAD4JManager.sh script.

In a multi-homed NIC system, the managed server for the AD4J manager was configured to use the VIP but it is trying to connect to the physical hostname of the system.
