11 Grid Control: Steps for Modifying the HTTP and HTTPS Upload Ports After Installation (Doc ID 1194233.1)

In Enterprise Manager Grid Control, the management agent uses port 4900 (HTTPS) and  port 4889 (HTTP) by default to upload the *.xml files to the Oracle Management Server.  Sometimes users may require to change these ports due to firewall policies and restrictions.  This article explains how to change the HTTP/HTTPS upload ports configured on the OMS  in Grid Control.  Note that after these ports have been changed on the OMS, it will be necessary to update the configuration of all the agents which upload to this OMS.
