Various Problems in WebLogic Server with Embedded LDAP when com.octetstring.vde.EntryChanges.readBytes Throws Exceptions

These symptoms are exceptions that are thrown by the readBytes method in the EntryChanges class within the WebLogic Server embedded LDAP. They are both indications that the embedded LDAP changelog files have become corrupt.
- A managed server fails to start
- The Admin server starts and shows high CPU
- The Admin server starts, and log files fill with exception messages
