Various Problems in WebLogic Server with Embedded LDAP when com.octetstring.vde.EntryChanges.readBytes Throws Exceptions (Doc ID 1325978.1)

Symptoms

These symptoms are exceptions that are thrown by the readBytes method in the EntryChanges class within the WebLogic Server embedded LDAP. They are both indications that the embedded LDAP changelog files have become corrupt.
