Purpose
This document explains how to perform automatic discovery of targets on a host computer after installation of the Enterprise Manager (EM) 12c Cloud Control Agent.
Scope
Automatic Target Discovery identifies targets and allows Enterprise Manager Administrators to manage these targets using EM 12c Cloud Control.
The targets that are discovered must be promoted as Enterprise Manager targets if you want Enterprise Manager to manage the targets.
