java.io.IOException Error Occured while changing the Sysman password in Grid control 11g. (Doc ID 1388341.1)

Symptoms

Attempting to change the sysman password for 11.1.0.1 grid control generates the following error:-

 
./emctl config oms -change_repos_pwd -change_in_db

Error occured. Check the logs.

The following error is reported in the secure.log (<OMS_instance_home>/app/gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1/sysman/log)
