Multiple trace files are generated in the Enterprise Manager Management Agent's diag directory, thus creating space constraints on the server where the Agent is running.  These files have the extension *.trm and are generated frequently for example:-

-rw-r----- 1 user  group 21596 Feb 28 12:55 ora_31424_4749989xxxx.trm

Normally, these files are created under

$HOME/oradiag_<owning user>/diag/clients/user_<owning user>/host_*/trace

But will not necessarily always be found under $HOME. The $HOME directory can be changed to a different location if following the advice from <note: 1307259.1> "How to Prevent The Oradiag_<owning user> (eg oradiag_oracle) Directory writing to $HOME When Starting The 11g Agent"

In this particular example, the files are seen under:-

$AGENT_HOME/sysman/log/diag/clients/user_<owning user>/host_*/alert
$AGENT_HOME/sysman/log/diag/clients/user_<owning user>/host_*/trace

In conjunction with the *.trm files, *.trc files may also be seen.
