ILOM Targets Raise Critical Power Supply Sensor Alerts In EM That Never Clear (Doc ID 1398378.1)

Symptoms


ILOM targets raised a Critical alert status in EM stating Power supply sensor(s) at level - CRITICAL.

" Critical - Power Supply sensor #0x66 indicated that it is at state: Asserted "

These Critical alerts are limited to four sensors:

#0x65  >>  PS0/VINOK
#0x66  >>  PS0/PWROK
#0x74  >>  PS1/VINOK
#0x75  >>  PS1/PWROK

If you query the ILOM Event Log, you can see the associated sensors referenced by the EM Alert are in Asserted status:

ipmitool -I lan -H <ILOM target's IP address> -U oemuser -P <password of oemuser> -L USER sel list last 100 |grep x66

Changes

Power to Exadata had experienced outage then restored back to normal recently.
