This document identifies the procedure that should be followed to verify the functionality of the (Oracle) SCOM Agent and the SCOM Web Service. Listed below are points that needs to be checked when troubleshooting an issue with Enterprise Manager SCOM connector.
- Verify Agent Functionality - This section provides steps to verify that the agent is operational and is able to access the SCOM API.
- Connectivity to the SCOM Agent - This section provides steps to verify that the agent can be accessed from the machine where the web service is installed.
