Database processes owned by SUDO user on AIX instead of oracle user

IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)
Startup of database using SUDO user.
The Oracle processes are owned by the sudo user instead of the oracle user.
This issue is seen when starting up the database using sudo in Enterprise Manager Grid Control as well as in SQLPlus.
