FMW 11g EM Console Pages Do Not Display As Expected (Doc ID 1457187.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Fusion MiddleWare (FMW) Identity Management 11g has been installed and FMW Enterprise Manager (EM) Console has been configured with the Identity Management (IDM) components.

There are no apparent IDM component functionality issues, but when EM Console (/em) is accessed the EM Console pages do not display as expected after login.

This only occurs for one or more specific FMW 11g installations (termed 'problem installations' below). Using the same client / browser, other FMW 11g installations EM Console pages are displayed as expected (termed 'working installations' below).

 

Some symptoms:

1. In problem installation(s), after login is performed for /em access, the Topology tab is selected by default and the components are displayed with radio buttons.
