Queries involving Advanced Queueing Queue Tables which use the SYS.XMLTYPE within their ADT have a High Version Count (Doc ID 1473494.1)

Queries of the form

select (sysdate-enq_time) * 86400, msg_state from <Schema>.<Table_name> where msg_id =...

have high version counts.

As per the cursor trace events discussed in <Note 296377.1> the trace file for the relevant sql_id the reason for the sharing failure is related to anydata transformation

SQL pgadep:1 pgapls:1 user
 kksUnlockChild: releasing child
 Failed sharing : 80000000 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< anydata transformation

The underlying queue tables for the associated queries have ADTs which utilise sys.xmltype.
