Last updated on APRIL 17, 2013

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database - Version to [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Cluster database status down in Enterprise Manager 12c

Add a RAC One Node database in 12c Cloud Control for monitoring.

Say, node1 and node2 are the names of the machines and db1 is the database name.
During initial discovery one instance and cluster database would be shown as up.
Now relocate the instance from node1 to node2 using:

srvctl relocate database -d db1 -n node2

Now two instances would be shown in home page of cluster. One with up status and other with down. This should not happen and always only one active instance should be shown.
