Purpose

This document provides the following:

Release dates for each EM Plug-in included in the Enterprise Manager Error Correction Support Policies Guidelines. See Table 1 below.
Oracle Plugins not listed in this document are developed by product (target) specific teams and therefore fall under the Error Correction Support Policies Guidelines of those products.
Non-Oracle Plug-ins created by Oracle Partners are also not listed in this document; the developing partner is responsible for support of the plug-in. Please see the Enterprise Manager Extensibility Exchange for additional information on Oracle Partner Plug-ins.

A compatibility matrix between EM Plug-ins and EM Base Platform versions. See Table 1 below.

If a new plug-in release is planned for an upcoming release, the plug-in version is listed in the matrix but the Release Date is a timeframe. Oracle cannot provide release dates for future products, but guidelines are provided to help aid in planning for future releases. See Note:793512.1 for information on the EM Base Platform (OMS and Agent) release schedule.

Scope

Enterprise Manager Framework Administrators responsible for installing and maintaining the EM Framework and Plug-in infrastructure will find this document helpful as a supplement to the Error Correction Support Policies Guidelines, as well as plug-in installation planning.

NOTE: When determining supportability and certification combinations between a plug-in installation and the Enterprise Manager Base Platform installation, you must consider the EM OMS and Agent versions as well as the plug-in and monitored target versions. Plug-ins allow monitoring and administration for a particular target or set of targets and depending on the target type, both the OMS and the Agent need to be aware of the target. For this reason, some plug-ins will have an OMS component (ie OMS-Side) and others will have both OMS-Side and Agent-Side. components

Oracle recommends keeping your Enterprise Manager components and targets updated to the latest certified versions in order to receive code fixes without having to purchase an Extended Support License. Certified combinations of Enterprise Manager components and monitored targets are available in the My Oracle Support Certification tab.
