(Doc ID 1536857.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 12, 2019
Applies to:
Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 12.1.0.1.0 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
If a Enterprise Manager Cloud Control user needs to manage Self Update features, this user requires to be granted some specific roles or privileges.
This article explains how to proceed.
Note: Currently there is no specific privilege to set the Proxy Settings for My Oracle Support (EM Cloud Control => Setup => Provisioning and Patching => Offline Patching => My Oracle Support and Proxy Connections). So if you need to change My Oracle Support Proxy Settings in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.2.0, you will need to log in to the Cloud Control console as a Super Administrator.
This should be fixed in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.3, where a new privilege will be available and granted Out-of-Box to the role EM_INFRASTRUCTURE_ADMIN (<Bug
