Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a target is created, various target property names like "LifeCycle Status", "Location", "Contact" are set to default values (appear as empty fields in the console, or sometimes as 'None' in drop down fields).

In order to change the "LifeCycle Status" target property value of a database target to "Test" using an emcli call, the following command can be executed:

emcli set_target_property_value -property_records="REGPWPD2:oracle_database:LifeCycle Status:Test"

However, when trying to change the property back to Null value or None , it fails

When trying to set back to None, it fails.

emcli set_target_property_value -property_records=" Status: None"
Error: Invalid Lifecycle Stage value.

None is a valid value in the UI interface.
