Last updated on SEPTEMBER 09, 2013

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager Base Platform - Version 12.1.0.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

After upgrading the grid control from 10.2.0.5 to 12.1.0.2.

In 10g grid control we can extract historical data month wise using below query

select to_char(collection_timestamp,'DD-MON-RRRR') "Date(Peak Hour:08AM to 16PM')",round(avg(value),2) "Value(%)"
from mgmt$metric_details
where TARGET_TYPE = 'host'
and target_name='<host target name>'
and column_label ='Memory Utilization (%)'
and to_number(to_char(collection_timestamp,'MMRRRR'))=to_number(to_char(add_months(sysdate,-1),'MMRRRR'))
and to_number(to_char(collection_timestamp,'HH24')) between 8 and 16
group by to_char(collection_timestamp,'DD-MON-RRRR')
order by 1;

But after upgrading to 12c the above query give data only last 7 days.
