Symptoms
The user is unable to configure or administer Directory Naming through the Enterprise Manager (EM) 12.1.0.1.0 Cloud Control console:
Navigate: Target > Hosts> [select target host link] > [expand Host drop down menu] > Net Services Administration > [expand Administer LOV] > Directory Naming
This selection results in the following error (example):
The <PATH>/network/admin/ldap.ora configuration file mentioned in the error message exists with correct file permissions.
NOTE: The monitored host does not have a monitored Database target.
