EM 11g: Enterprise Manager 11.1.0.1 Grid Control Management Agent Shows Unreachable Alerts with Error: Agent to OMS Communication is broken (Doc ID 1559379.1)

Symptoms

An agent generates unreachable alerts in the Grid Control console accompanied with logged messages proclaiming brokenssl handshake failure between OMS And Agents. This alert lasts for about 1 or 2 minutes and immediately clears.

The following is logged in the  <agent Oracle Home>/sysman/log/emagent.trc file:
