How to configure the collector to ignore specific network interfaces, for example when using bonded interfaces (Doc ID 1565005.1)

How can one prevent certain interfaces from being collected upon by the RUEI collector?
This can be useful when the collector host also has a bonded setup for the management network interface. In that case there will be two network interfaces without an ip-address and set to promiscuous while it should not be monitored by the collector
