Symptoms

Accessing the Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Console through IE 9 /IE 10 and navigating to different pages/functionality may throw the error 'Internal Error has occurred'.

Example 1

From the page Target's Metric and Collection Settings, try to edit any metric thresholds and click OK or Save.

The following error is generated:

Error:
Internal Error has occurred.  Check the log file for details

Example 2

Multi-Task job -> Tasks tab -> Try to create the first task

The following error is generated:

Error:
Internal Error has occurred. Check the log file for details.

This error may be generated from other different pages, trying to complete different tasks. If you are logged into the Enterprise Manager Cloud Control console using Internet Explorer (IE) release 9 or 10, you may hit this problem.
