OEM 12C Reports Cell Health Down On Exadata Storage Server (Doc ID 1579475.1)

Symptoms

The Cell Health indicator at Cell home page, upper Left, shows Cell Health status as a down red arrow, but the target status is an up green arrow - for example:

 

 

To verify the health of the cell, you review the following:

- Check for any pending critical incident against the target in the past 30 days; however there aren't any CRITICAL errors during the last month time.

- Check the alerthistory for the cell to monitor the cell for any CRITICAL alerts to confirm there are none listed:


There also are no alerts in the Incident console (expected as it only shows critical alert).

Despite no CRITICAL alerts in the past 30 days, the Cell Health status shows a down red arrow.
