12c Cloud Control: Incorrect Event Raised for Jobs Executed in the Past Resulting in Confusing Notifications Which Appear to be Delayed

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Email notifications are received for job failures after many days. For example:
The Backup job actually failed on: Jun 15, 2013 but the Email notification was received on : July 22, 2013 (7 days later).
The email details shows that the Rule which sent the Email is the out-of-box rule - Auto clear Rule for job status change terminal status events older than 7 days
Also the email content says "Event is cleared by rule.." but the subject shows ' EM Event: Critical:..', which is contradicting.
