Failed To Launch Process Testing And Saving SSH Credentials (Doc ID 1593624.1)

Symptoms

Testing and Saving  an ssh credentials  returns the error:
 "Failed to launch process: Auth fail".

The following did not solve the issue :
mkdir -p $HOME/.ssh
chmod 0700 $HOME/.ssh
ssh-keygen -t dsa -f $HOME/.ssh/id_dsa -P ''
cd $HOME/.ssh
cat id_dsa.pub >> $HOME/.ssh/authorized_keys
