When the SYSDBA user is set in the Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control preferred credentials for "SYSDBA database credentials", a "database login" dialogue box is presented to the user when clicking on any of the database operations which require logging into the database (for example choose an option from Performance, Availability, Security, Schema, and Administration). When the 'normal database credentials' are set, automatic login to the database takes place (when choosing an option from Performance/Availability/Security or Schema) and no "database login" box is shown.
Question: Why doesn't Enterprise Manager use the credentials set for the SYSDBA user to automatically log into the database?
