Purpose

Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control is an expansive product with functionality in many different areas.  Sometimes it can be daunting for a new user to know where to start with setup and configuration.  This series of videos is aimed at Database Administrators who are new to Enterprise Manager.  The video series starts with a brand new Enterprise Manager system which has been installed but not configured.  Each video discusses and sets up areas which are important in order to successfully manage a database target.  Please note, this series does not deal with installation itself.

These videos were recorded using Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.3 Cloud Control, but the same principles apply to later versions including EM 13c (unless indicated in the accompanying notes).

Scope

This series of videos is aimed at Database Administrators who are new to Enterprise Manager and would like to manage a database via EM but are not quite sure where to start.
