EM 12c: Listener Target Discovery Generates TNS-1190 in Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control (Doc ID 1619640.1)

Listeners is reporting TNS-01190 errors for privileged requests even though no password was specified for the listeners.

Symptoms

The Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.2 Cloud Control Management Agent is installed with OS user oraem, with primary group of oinstall, and secondary groups as asmadmin and oradba:

oraem: uid=250035(oraem) gid=8004(oinstall)
groups=8004(oinstall),40202(oraoper),40205(asmoper)


The target database listener owner (oragrid) also has primary group oinstall:

oragrid: uid=305790(oragrid) gid=8004(oinstall)
groups=8004(oinstall),40204(asmdba),40205(asmoper),40203(asmadmin),40209(asmadm)

During subsequent agent interactions, the listener log shows the following error messages, which are also shown in the listener target alerts in the Enterprise Manager console:
