Last updated on AUGUST 09, 2018

Applies to:

Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database - Version 11.1.0.1 to 12.1.0.4.0 [Release 11.1 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SQL Access and Segment Advisor scheduler jobs when created on adhoc basis through GRID, are leaving abandoned orphan jobs inside the database(in dba_scheduler_jobs) and not getting cleaned up. The same doesn't hold happen for SQL Tuning advisor and when you create SQL tuning advisor job, after its execution, it automatically removes the job entry from dba_scheduler_jobs.

Changes

No definite changes but when creating SQL Access and Segment Advisor jobs through GRID and Cloud control
