"Invalid Credential Type. Target Type=host, Credential Type=HostSSHCreds" errors for SSH Credentials in 12c (Doc ID 1640062.1)

1. From OMS, create SSH Credentials for host Target type by navigating to :

Setup > Security > Named Credentials.

Select 'Authentication Target Type' as host and 'Credential type' as 'SSH Key Credentials' and proceed with credential creation

2. Apply Patch 16604850 to OMS home.

Following two issues are observed:

Navigate to Setup > Security > Named Credentials

a. Now clicking on already created ssh credential and viewing shows:

Invalid credential type. target type=host, credential type=HostSSHCreds

b. Trying to create a new Credential for target type host does not show ssh credential in drop down menu. This was showed before applying OMS and agent patches.
