EM 12c: Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control Agent Installation Hangs in OMS Port Verification (Doc ID 1911351.1)

Symptoms

EM 12c Cloud Control agent installation hangs while verifying the OMS port with the following display:

./agentDeploy.sh AGENT_BASE_DIR=/u01/oracle/oraoem/agent12c OMS_HOST=xxxxxxxx EM_UPLOAD_PORT=1159 AGENT_REGISTRATION_PASSWORD=xxxxx AGENT_PORT=3873 EM_INSTALL_TYPE="AGENT"

Validating the OMS_HOST & EM_UPLOAD_PORT
Executing command : /u01/oracle/oraoem/agent12c/core/12.1.0.2.0/jdk/bin/java -classpath /u01/oracle/oraoem/agent12c/core/12.1.0.2.0/jlib/agentInstaller.jar:/u01/oracle/oraoem/agent12c/core/12.1.0.2.0/oui/jlib/OraInstaller.jar oracle.sysman.agent.installer.AgentInstaller /u01/oracle/oraoem/agent12c/core/12.1.0.2.0 /home/oraoem /u01/oracle/oraoem/agent12c -prereq
