Symptoms

Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) software was integrated with Enterprise Manager (EM) 12.1.0.4 Cloud Control. Nevertheless it should be configured by running configureBIP script.

In case SYSMAN password is changed since the software was installed (or contains special charactes), the first attempt to run configureBIP fails with error:

BIP Schema is not created

The second/third attempts to run configureBIP partially succed (assuming that schema exist) , but BI will not fully work as there is no BIP Repository.

Changes

BIP Configuration fails in either of the following situations:

1. If SYSMAN user contains special characters (e.g $)
2. If SYSMAN pwd had been changed since the Cloud Control was installed until first run of configureBIP script
