Purpose

This document provides the steps to investigate errors with Adding of External LDAP Users and Enterprise Manager (EM) login failures using External Users.
HINT: These steps do not apply to normal EM users and EUS Authenticated Users.

See the following note for the special case where an "Invalid Username/Password" error is observed by Active Directory users logging in to EM 13.1:
