EM 12c: Installation of the Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control Agent does not Result in Target Discovery on its Host (Doc ID 1938926.1)

Symptoms

Deploying an EM 12c agent does not result in discovery of host and agent targets, as is usually the case.

The following is the result of a diagnostic wget access to the agent site:

oracle@saigon data]$ wget https://<AGENT_HOSTNAME>:<AGENT_PORT>/emd/main/ --no-check-certificate
