How to handle invalid certificate warnings while recording HTTPS traffic in a Openscript load testing script?
When recording load test scripts against secure websites, Internet Explorer (IE) will display the warning "There is a problem with this website's security certificate ".
At the same time, a pop-up message will appear in Openscript about an invalid certificate.
These warnings are triggered because OpenScript has configured IE to redirect all its traffic through the OpenScript local proxy server (used by Openscript to record load test traffic), which decrypts traffic between IE and the target web server.
IE warns the user that the connection to the target web server is not direct but via a intermediate server which is not a trusted server (its certificate isn't trusted) and whose certificate address doesn't match the site being visited.
