12.1.0.4.2 Enterprise Manager Base Platform Patch Set Update (PSU)
What is being announced?
This note gives a brief overview of the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4 Patchset Update (PSU2), versioned 12.1.0.4.2GC.
This PSU2 is an OMS patch only.

This PSU2 can be installed on top of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4.0 or 12.1.0.4.0 with PSU1 applied (12.1.0.4.1).
If you upgrade Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to 12.1.0.4 or if you do a fresh installation of Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.4 and
If you select the Software Update feature (recommended),
The Installation wizard will download an apply the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4 Patchset Update (PSU2) as part of the Installation/Upgrade.

2.1.5 What Are Software Updates?
Existing installation of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4.0 or 12.1.0.4.0 with PSU1 applied (12.1.0.4.1) require to manually download and apply this patch.

Pre-requisites
1) Ensure that you have the latest version of OPatch Release 11.1. Oracle recommmends you to use the latest version available under Patch:6880880 for 11.1.0.0.0 release.
