12c: OEM Login fails for External Users if Username Mapping is Enabled (Doc ID 1954085.1)

Symptoms

 

OEM 12c is authenticated with External Authentication Providers.
Login to OEM is successsful with external LDAP users.If you enable username mapping and set EXTERNALUSERID attribute as below, then login to OEM fails with external users

$OMS_HOME/bin>emctl set property -name "oracle.sysman.core.security.auth.enable_username_mapping" -value "true"
$OMS_HOME/bin>emctl set property -name "oracle.sysman.core.security.auth.ldapuserattributes_emuserattributes_mappings" -value "USERNAME={%displayname%},EXTERNALUSERID={%loginid%}"
