Symptoms
Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control (fmwc) 12c does not remove appmergegen temporary files created on the server temporary directory. This problem could be reproduced at will by extending a WebLogic Server domain with the Enterprise Manager template and follow these steps.
1. Log into the WebLogic Server console and deploy an application that contains pre-compiled JSPs.
2. Log into fmwc ( /em ).
3. Click into Application Deployments > {Deployment Name}
Once server has been recycled, offending directories persist and consume space as seen below.
This problem was replicated with EM 12.1.2 and 12.1.3.
