EM 12c: How To Purge Audit Data After Retention Period Without The Enabling Externalization Switch (Doc ID 1968074.1)

Currently Audit data are purged once the Retention Period has ended only if the "Externalization Switch" is enabled and after the OS directory (accessible from the Repository Database host) has been provided.
Once the "Externalization Switch" is enabled, the DBMS job" EM_AUDIT_EXT_SCHED_JOB" moves the xml files to OS directory.

The files created in the OS directory must be deleted manually or through a Cron Job.
