Symptoms

Oracle Cloud Control UTL / Transaction monitoring emits an error after sslv3 is disabled on the application side.

The url which is being monitored has the following error:


Getting the certificate chain
Following exception occurred when running <service test name>
javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated
       at com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.SSLSessionImpl.getPeerCertificateChain(SSLSessionImpl.java:401)
       at oracle.sysman.emctl.secdiag.OpenURL.main(OpenURL.java:223)


Changes

 SSLv3 protocol on application side is disabled, in favor of TLS protocols (TLSv1, TLSv1.1, TLSv1.2).
