Symptoms

Weblogic domain discovery fails with the following error message in EM Console:

Failed to discover WebLogic: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.net.ConnectException t3s://<HostName.Domain>:<Port>: Destination unreachable; nested exception is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: com.bm.jsse2.util.g: PKIX path building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException: PKIXCertPathBuilderImpl could not build a valid CertPath.; internal cause is: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: The certificate issued by CN=Network Solutions Certificate Authority, O=Network Solutions L.L.C., C=US is not trusted; internal cause is: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Certificate chaining error; No available router to destination. No targets discovered. Check host, port, credentials, and protocol and be sure the server is running. This UI cannot be used to discover WebLogic version 7.x to 8.x.
