12.1.0.4.3 Enterprise Manager Base Platform Patch Set Update (PSU)

What is being announced?

This note gives a brief overview of the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4 Patchset Update  (PSU3), versioned 12.1.0.4.3CC.

This PSU3 is an OMS patch only.

This PSU3 can be installed on top of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4.0 and any PSU released previously for Oracle Management Service 12c Release 4 (12.1.0.4.0).

 

If you upgrade Enterprise Manager Cloud Control to 12.1.0.4 or if you do a fresh installation of Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12.1.0.4 and select the Software Update feature (recommended),  the Installation wizard will download and apply the Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4 Patchset Update  (PSU3) as part of the Installation/Upgrade.

2.1.5 What Are Software Updates?

Existing installation of Enterprise Manager Base Platform 12.1.0.4.0 or 12.1.0.4.0 with any PSU (eg. PSU1 or PSU2)  applied require to manually download and apply this patch.

Pre-requisites

1) Ensure that you have the latest version of OPatch Release 11.1.  Oracle recommmends you to use the latest version available under Patch:6880880 for 11.1.0.0.0 release.

2) Please refer to the README file in <Note 1995268.1> for full detail of pre-requisites

 

Known Issues

There are no knowns issue at the time of release for this PSU.

Bug Fix List - OMS Oracle Home

From Enterprise Manager Base Platform 11.1GC onwards, the PSU notes point to so-called "bug tag" notes instead of bugs. These "bug tag" notes describe the symptoms, impact and workarounds (if any) of each bug in a comprehensive language.
