Symptoms

Enterprise Manager (EM) 12.1.0.3 Cloud Control

 

<Agent base directory>/agent_inst/bin/emctl pingOMS
            fails with following error
            Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 3
            Copyright (c) 1996, 2013 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.

            EMD pingOMS error: Received Key Mismatch from OMS

OR
<Agent base directory>/agent_inst/bin/emctl pingOMS

fails with following error

EMD pingOMS error: Failure connecting to https://<OMS HOSTNAME>.<DOMAINNAME>:4899/empbs/upload/ , err Connection establishment timed out

OR

<Agent base directory>/agent_inst/sysman/log/gcagent.log reports the following ping error

OR


Connectivity from agent to OMS shows 100% ICMP ping packet loss

$ ping oms.oracle.com
PING <OMS_HOST> (<OMS IP>) 56(84) bytes of data.

--- <OMS_HOST> ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 2819ms

OR


OMS upload url testing using wget fails

$ wget https://<OMS HOSTNAME>.<DOMAINNAME>:4903/empbs/upload --no-check-certificate
