ORA-31619: Invalid Dump File When Attempting To Upload Into The AWR Warehouse (Doc ID 2024446.1)

ORA-31619: invalid dump file when loading a DUMP file into the AWR Warehouse

Symptoms

The following message is generated when loading the dump file into the AWR Warehouse on Windows:

ORA-31619: invalid dump file

This error may also be accompanied by :

ORA-31694: master table "SYS"."SYS_IMPORT_FULL_02" failed to load/unload
ORA-31640: unable to open dump file "<AGENT_INST_HOME>\awr_t\<dumpfile>.dmp" for read
ORA-19505: failed to identify file "<AGENT_INST_HOME>\awr_t\<dumpfile>.dmp"
ORA-27046: file size is not a multiple of logical block size 
OSD-04012: file size mismatch (OS 22124978)

or

ORA-39000: bad dump file specification

Both the AWR Warehouse database, and the source database are on Windows.

If the dump file is saved on the source database, and a test import is carried out on the source database, this is successful, suggesting that the file is created correctly.

Changes

The fix for the bug:19813287 has been applied.
