Symptoms

Cloud Control 12c/13c sends email notification for the EM Console Service every 5-10 mins.

The notification contains the following message:

EM Console Service Test from EM Management Beacon violated the threshold; Metric: avg_response_time; Collected value: 6075; Threshold value: 6000.0

(Collected and Threshold values may be different in each case.)


EM Console Service has only one transaction , which is the login page of the EM. The Beacon tries to access this page based on the frequency set.

The beacon runs the test against the following page and reports the performance metrics.

https://<hostname>.<domain>:<port>/em/faces/consoleStatus.jsp

Note: Replace bracketed fields with appropriate hostname, domain name and port, as needed.
